Mastering Engineer: An objective and technical set of ears carefully guiding artists and producers through critical decisions regarding the sonic integrity of a recording being prepared for the market place.

Mission: At CPT Mastering our mission is simple. Extract the best possible performance from every recording, deliver a sonically balanced master to the competitive market place and provide a comfortable, relaxed environment to ensure our client’s vision is achieved.

STUDIO: CPT’s B Room offers High Resolution Digital and Analog Mastering, Editing, Restoration, and Archiving. Our Mastering room is based around a Pro Tools 7 HD3 Workstation with a variety of Class A digital and analog processors and converters.
Clients may submit their mixes in any number of different mediums and formats. We offer a full range of analog playback from our vintage 3M ¼” to our Ampex ATR-102 ½”. Digital playback includes everything from stereo 16 bit/ 44.1 kHz DAT/ CD-R to 24 bit/ 96 kHz Aiff, Wav, and SDll files on CD-R, DVD or Firewire HD.

Delivery Formats: Once a session is completed and approved, final masters can be delivered in the following formats for replication or duplication:
DDP 2.0: includes PQ, ISRC, and CD Text
CD-DA: includes PQ, ISRC and CD Text
Reference CD-R: for quality control only.
