Studio B Mastering
After receiving a B.S. in Editing from Radford University, Jeff moved to Athens, GA to pursue a career in music production. From '95-'98 he oversaw sound design and archiving for the Historic Morton Theater in downtown Athens (West Side Story, I Do, I Do, The King and I, Into The Woods, Little Shop of Horrors).
In 1999, Jeff provided the original score and sound design for the Off-Broadway play "Downfall" which ran in Athens and New York City. Then, in 2000, he scored the now infamous episode "Waking Quinn" for Adult Swim's Sealab 2021. (Cartoon Network:Season One)
Later that year he opened City Mastering, an analog and digital suite dedicated exclusively to audio post production, editing and restoration. Since then, Jeff has worked with some of the finest artists and comedians in the southeast, and around the country including Vic Chesnutt, The Melvins, Jack Logan, Drive-by Truckers, David Cross, Kevn Kinney, Brian Posehn, Don Chambers, Patton Oswalt, REM, Elf Power, The Dexateens and The Modern Skirts.
In 2005, Jeff began booking clients at David Barbe's Chase Park Transduction Studio B. Mastering clients include Touch and Go, New West, Sub Pop, Warm, Darla, Fundamental, Kindercore, Asianman, Furlined, Saddle-Creek, Chunklet, Rykodisc, Orange Twin, Ghostmeat, Sky Bucket, Alternative Tentacles Records and Cosmo Sex School.
